Instructors are available for private lessons to provide individual attention. Up to four students are allowed in a private lesson so that students can learn and receive the attention they need.

Learn to skipper a sloop-rigged keelboat by day in moderate winds and sea conditions. Learn cruising sailboat terminology, basic boat systems, auxiliary engine operation, docking procedures, intermediate sail trim, navigation rules, basic coastal navigation, anchoring, weather, safety and seamanship.
Grads are able to cruise safely in local and regional waters as both skipper and crew on an auxiliary powered sailboat of 27 feet in length.
Prerequisite: ASA 101 and the ability to demonstrate the skills and knowledge of that course. Highly recommended students have at least 24 hours of on water sailing experience
